Contents: 

Communication and Listening Skills: Oral communication and listening skills are extremely important in the workplace and the world of business. We help our clients and their team members work on conveying their message verbally, clearly and coherently and to listen to information in a meaningful way.

Through exercises, role plays and scenarios, such as communicating with coworkers, telephone conversations, meetings etc. we work through any issues and problems participants might be facing and provide the tools to speak clearly and listen with confidence.

Written Communication: Written communications often stay with us far longer than other means of communication. For this reason, having professional, clear and concise writing is essential.

We look at a range of written materials, such as emails, letters, reports and project management documents. The objective we work towards is to write in a professional way, expressing ideas in a simple and clear manner.

Presentation Skills: Presentations are a core part of the world of business. Every day millions of presentations are given across the globe. However, there are many pitfalls that can make the experience of giving a presentation less than appealing.

We work with participants on techniques and methods to control nerves during presentations, speak clearly and confidently and keep audiences involved and invested in the presentation. We also offer help with slides and visual aids – less can often be more!

Objectives: By the end of the course, students will have gained strength in the core communications skills and will be able to better communicate and operate in the world of business.

Levels: Courses currently taught in English, Spanish and Catalan. Students must be either native or have C1 level as a minimum.
